The band Kek Rox was formed in Rotterdam, in the summer of 2007. Founder members Ziggy Rox, Lee Rox and Carol Rox are close relatives, they've been into music since their childhood. Nicky Rox and Kitty Rox are the runaway roxies who came back just at the right moment.

Kek Rox’s first CD, Spectacular Trip Through Old Skool Rock Vol. 1, will be released at the end of the year. A tour of Holland is planned for later in the year. Check this space for further details!

Singer/guitarist Carol Rox’s musical roots are in Los Angeles, where she played with every goddamn band that would tolerate her. ‘Right now I just wanna get laid – and famous, in that order!’

Sologuitarist Ziggy Rox is the bad ass of the band. His hobbies include snowboarding, bungyjumping, paragliding and kickboxing. ‘I guess I need a lot of kicks!’ 

Keyboard player Nicky Rox is really cuddly. ‘I just love to make love to the organ!’ His cat is called Cheesecake.

Lee ‘The Body’ Rox, the drummer, is originally from Berlin. Masculinity meets maximum rock&roll. ‘The Body’ is the alcohooligan of the band.

Bass player Kitty Rox was born in Barcelona and moved to Rotterdam in 2005. ‘… because I fell in love!’ Kitty Rox toured all over Europe for a number of years, working as a topless dancer.
