what do you get when you put alot of great minds together?
What a living room!
Yesterday’s evening was so much fun.. Cool atmosphere and decor, curious people, amazing space, food, (damn, that was some serious spinach soup - finger-licking good) drinks, old school video games, chess backgammon. Hell, there was even a ceramic dog. The place has really a lot of potential. the atmosphere was so pleasant, you didnt really feel commited to any one thing. you could play games or just chat. (the only reason the potential wasnt fully fulfilled in my opinion was that there should be more people.)
I, for one, thought it was for correspondents only. Too bad, there are some people that i would invited I’m sure who would have really loved it. Perhaps next week.
What a great pleasure to finally see the faces behind the articles, columns and stories of AntenneRotterdam. But I don’t think everybody came did they?
There definitely should be one massive correspondent bash. "My sources" tell me there are around 80-90 correspondents meaning that about 70 didn’t come. Well, what we should do with that space and potential is organize one big correspondent get-together and so many sharp (?) minds, it should be a good reason for a party or get-together.
It kinda reminds me of the 19th century cafes where they had writer guilds and intellectual cafes where people came to reflect on current matters, exchange information and ideas, etc.
I hope speaking english didn’t break your balls.
Well if anybody else writes in English... we can get some discussions rolling. So plz try once in a while.
