A 2 part exhibition at the 'Nederlands FotoMuseum' around the reality of the mega-menace. On one hand a series of amazing pictures taken throughout the 40's 50's and 60's at Nuclear Bomb expiremnts and tests carried out by the U.S.A. the images, taken from Michael Lights Book '100 Suns' depict the nukes detonations use different cameras and filters to create an overall feel of what the 'Bad Boy' is all about; its range, color and magnitude. The images look like special effects on a big-budget movie, and who doesnt like special effects?!

On the other hand we have the more real, day-to-day, tagible atmosphere surrounding the Bombs, images taken from 'Face to Face with the Bomb' by Paul Shambroom, looking at the American Nuclear Industry and the people that come into daily contact with the Mega Bomb, not as breathtaking as the first part, but i guess just as essential.

The pyromaniacs among us will love love this stuff.
